Kingswood Football Club was formed as Kingswood Boys FC in 1988. The club was almost called Albion FC however it was decided to choose a name that reflected the geographical location of the soccer club. Based in Tallaght on the south side of Dublin, Kingswood teams play their home matches in Ballymount Park near the crematorium and Kingswood Green.
