Knocklyon United FC

Knocklyon United FC is a Dublin soccer football club based in the south of the city. The club is represented in the various leagues in Dublin by 39 schoolboy teams and 3 Leinster Senior League teams.

In addition the club runs a Nursery on the Astro pitch at St Colmcille's Community School on the Scholarstown Road. The nursery is for 4,5 and 6 year old's, to coach and teach them the basic soccer skills and techniques before they start at underage level.

Football pitches are located in the Knocklyon area at Ballycullen, Delaford (Small Sided Games only), Elkwood & Kennedy Field. Maps for, and directions to these pitches are outlined below. Knocklyon United has had quite an amount of success on the football field winning leagues and cups at various age groups in the Dublin and District Schoolboys League and South Dublin Football Leagues.

Two of our senior sides (Sat Major 1D & Sunday Premier) have both been promoted in the LSL for four successive seasons, winning several titles and making cup final appearances along the way, our second Sunday side having progressed from schoolboy U18 level this season are doing well in their first year in Div 3 LSL. Our Head Coach, Paul Barry, is currently undertaking his UEFA A badge and is helped by many of the senior team players in coaching the underage teams, and coaching the Managers too.
