Malahide Castle Demesne Soccer Pitches
Malahide Demesne in north County Dublin
came into public ownership in 1975 following almost 800 years of possession
by the Talbot family. The demesne covers an area of 110 hectares and Malahide
Castle forms the centrepiece. There are 15 football pitches in the park
and are under the management of Fingal County Council. There are ten soccer
pitches, four GAA pitches and one American football pitch. Malahide Demesne
also contains a nine hole par 3 golf course, and 18 hole pitch & putt
course, a cricket pitch, tennis courts, and a boules area.
