Richie Partridge - Introduction
Richie Partridge was born in Dublin on 12 September 1980. A tricky winger, Partridge joined Liverpool as a trainee with great expectations on how his football career would develop. Unfortunately for Partridge, Liverpool and Ireland he did not fulfil those expectations.

Richie Partridge made his Liverpool debut on 29 November 2000 against Stoke City in the fourth round of the League Cup. The Merseyside team thumped the Potters 8-0.
Partridge did not feature again in the Liverpool first team for another four years when he came on as a second half substitute against Middlesborough, once again in the fourth round of the League Cup.
His next, and last appearance for Liverpool FC was on 1 December 2004 in the next round of the League Cup against Tottenham Hotspur. Partridge came on as a substitute during extra time as the two teams played out a 1-1 draw. The tie was decided on a penalty shoot-out.
Partridge took and scored the second penalty for Liverpool as the Reds went through 4-3. This was his last act in a Liverpool first team shirt and Richie Partridge was transferred to Sheffield Wednesday in July 2005.
Richie Partridge - Ireland Career
Richie Partridge has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 21 level however he has never won a full international cap.
