Inishowen Football League Introduction

The Inishowen Football League was founded over 35 years ago to provided a structured league system for all football clubs from Malin Head to Killea. The league is based in Magin Park, Buncrana, Donegal. There are 18 soccer clubs affiliated to the Inishowen Football League. This progressive soccer league is currently rolling out a three phased development plan. Phase One saw the development of a three floodlit all-weather pitches that can accommodate five-a-side and eight-a-side soccer matches. Phase Two of the development plan includes the construction of a 115 X 80 grant-aided pitch with a sand base and floodlights. The final phase includes provision of dressingrooms, meeting room(s) and indoor training facilities. Progress of this phase will be dependent upon the league’s ability to raise sufficient funds.
