Everton AFC |
| Everton AFC is a County Cork soccer club that was founded in 1958. Three years later the club established it’s schoolboys section. As early as 1966 Everton AFC came very close to winning the FAI Junior Cup losing out to East Wall. The club acquired a piece of land in Togher and subsequently developed two soccer pitches on the site. The club tasted major success in 1994 by winning the Munster senior League. Everton’s most famous player is the great Irish soccer international, Denis Irwin, who had a glittering career with Ireland and his club, Manchester United. |
