Clane United FC |
| Clane United FC is a Kildare based soccer football club that competes in the Kildare & District Underage League. The club was founded by a number of young footballers in 1973. United play it’s home matches at the Doctor’s Road having relocated there in 1992 from Richardstown. Doctor’s Road is situated just off the Ballinagapa Road. Facilities include two full sized football pitches, one small-sized pitch, a flood-lit training pitch and a clubhouse equipped with dressing rooms, showers and a defibrillator. Clane United’s first success on the soccer pitch was in 1977 when it won the Counties Cup. |
