| Thomastown United AFC is a a Kilkenny soccer club that was formed in 1968. The club’s teams compete in the Carlow and District Football League.
With assistance from the 2006 Sports Capital Programme run by the Department of Sports, Arts and Tourism, and the 2006 Recreational Capital Fund run by Kilkenny County Council Thomastown United completed it’s floodlit all-weather training area in 2007. There are two pitches which are used by all club members for training and are also be available to other clubs and societies and the general public for rent. Each pitch is 35m x 23m and can facilitate 5-a-side or 6-a-side games. To book the soccer pitches please call 085 1535565. |
